I have never heard of Le Sidaner before. Thank you. Very interesting to read of the difference between his approach and that of the impressionists. I also like the paintings (especially the first one). How did you first come across him and his work?
Thanks, Andrew. I've been in Montreal once, for an academic conference several years back, but spent most of my time just looking around. I did get to that museum, so who knows?, maybe I saw Le Sidaner's work there.
